IoT – exploring the latest trends

IOTHINGS Milan 2019 spring edition took place on April 3rd and 4th at MIND, Milano Innovation District, the area that hosted Expo 2015.

The team of Haptica was there exploring the latest trends pushing the expanse of IoT devices.

Very interesting: the SigFoxTM (www.sigfox.com) wireless communication protocol.

Offered in Italy by Nettrotter (www.nettrotter.io), it serves the ISM radio band with ultra-narrowband encoding. This allows reliable and secure low-power, wide reaching signal transmission from sensorized infrastructure and IoT devices.

Combining this technology with our low-power, high output sensors will improve safety of critical infrastructure and decrease life-cycle costs by implementing preventive, condition-based maintenance and extending operational life.
