ROBOTICS AND HAPTIC SOLUTIONS
Our Haptic solutions have a wide linear transducer response at very high gain. Very small semiconductor strain gauges can be applied to any sensing device, even the smallest (e.g. the tip of a finger).
A multi-point sensing device on a membrane can be applied to create a sensing surface for humanoid or animal robots.

CIVIL ENGINEERING
Sensing Rebar Element Sensors were used to monitor a reinforced concrete bridge using wireless data gathering. Any critical structural element and material can be gauged, forming a network of sensors, minimizing safety risks and the cost of maintenance, transitioning your structure from calendar-based maintenance to condition-based maintenance.

MICROSCOPY AND PRECISION CONTROL

Some of our gauges are particularly suitable for structural and thermal monitoring of pipeline infrastructure or remote probes. High electric resistance and small size sensors allow embedded, passive wireless monitoring of remote and critical infrastructure and elements (welded joints, flanges, stress concentrators). The sensors are stable over a very long life (decades). Pressure and temperature sensors allow condition monitoring of the pipeline.

WATER AND RENEWABLE ENERGY
Some of our gauges and transducers are particularly suitable for structural and thermal monitoring of water pipeline infrastructure and wind turbines. High electric resistance and small size sensors allow embedded, passive wireless monitoring of remote and critical infrastructure and elements (welded joints, flanges, stress concentrators). The sensors are stable over a very long life (decades). Pressure and temperature sensors allow condition monitoring of gearboxes, electric equipment and turbine elements on-shore and off-shore. Shear stress sensors will pick up delamination of composite materials. The gauges are used for an advanced shear flow sensor to measure airflow conditions.
