MP 1X Series – Probe-type pressure sensors and transmitters

 

MP 1X series are small diameter high-stability (water/liquid level) probe-type pressure transducers with an integral 4 to 20 mA signal conditioner to automatically compensate for line resistance and power supply fluctuations. The sensor utilizes high reliability bulk type semiconductor strain gauges which are bonded directly to the inside surface of a machined diaphragm. The transducer and electronics package are housed in corrosive resistant titanium (Ti 6Al4V) body.

With a diameter of only 9.53 mm (0.375 inches), the MP 102 can easily be installed into holes with diameters as small as 12 mm (0.5 inch). Transducers are available with cable length up to 300 m (1000 feet); with splicing, greater lengths are possible.

This product is available with an internal hermetic seal which dramatically increases reliability and accuracy. At the cable exit, titanium armor is provided to improve the cable pull strength while maintaining a water seal. A moisture insulator located near the end of the cable is available and eliminates inter-conductor condensation. All cables are double-jacketed for extra protection.
